Basic Info about the MLSSL
The MLSSL is a league
founded on Sept 21, 1998. This league is governed by Dino Biorac. The league's start was
motivated by the donation of MSWL 6.5. The MLSSL based for fun and realism. MLSSL is
probably on of the 1st MLS American
soccer sim league on the net, and hopefully the 1st of many to come.
We will be running MSWL 6.5
version to simulate results. This program is very popular in soccer internet league, many
league are in there 4th year, and a few as many as 9th year. The MSWL is a great program
created by Al Sellers, a man who help build the MSWL, a league very popular with many
members, created way back, in 1989. MSWL 2000 will be created in 1999, and will provide a
more smarter, up to date, and GM and owner freindly program.
League Features
(This is a breif thing, I will be leaving out a lot of stuff, because until Im 100% on
working and running the simulator, but I will be giving out websites of other leagues
and what there doing).

The Rules
1a. Owners must be active, if you miss a few games, by not
sending in a lineup or returning mail you will be replace.
1b. If a owner has to leave for vacation, or busy with family matters
or personal reason he should give atleast a 48 hour notice to the
commish.
2. You must learn how to use the template system.
3. Respective most be shown to all members in the league, we don't
need kids or childish adults disrespecting others.
4. Any evidence of a owner owning more than 1 team or owner(s)
helping out another team by selling or trading them for a small
value, both praticipating parties will be kick out.
5. All members should have a e-mail account, invalid e-mail accounts
are hotmail.com, yahoo.com, juno.com, rocketmail.com, and other
accounts that can be used to create the possiblity of a owner owning
more than 1 team, commish can and will accpet some of those accounts
if he knows the person who is joinning with those free e-mail accounts
6. Not all rules are written in stone, and rules maybe over turn
by a board meeting, or by majority ownership votes. Rules like
1, 2, 3, and 4 will never be change, but can be revised(only if
commish agrees).
7. League meetings should have a full attendance of league members,
league meeting will probably be bi-weekly(every 2 weeks or so),
or when we need one. For any reasons why u can't make the meetings,
you have to e-mail the commissioner ahead of time.
8. The league will focus on a all AOL league. This due to e-mail get
through, times of all members are atleast with a 3 hour distance
(ie. PST & EST). Communication with members is very easy as well.
9. More rules will be placed if needed as we go on with the league.
10. Free Agents will cost 7k to sign, off-season FA's are sign for free.
11. Tournments can be runned by anyone, but should have atleast a 1 week
notice in advance, and you will take responsibility in making the
schedule and selecting the teams. Also you will have to finance for
the tourny, but a entry fee can be placed to help out or cover the
prize money.
12. You can arrange a freindly between a team, if both teams send
confirmation e-mail to the commissioner.
13. You must know how to send a properly formated lineup and a lineup on time, before the
due date, that is usually on Wednesdays and Sundays, time range is will vary, but is
recommened you send in your lineup a day or 2 before the due date.
14. All owners must be serouis, and as much as deticated as possible, also should have
fun.
