Last season ended very badly, Lazio won Serie A and coppa Italia, shame for italian football and AS Roma with shameful end of season unable to win against little teams as Bari ,Lecce,Reggina and only winning a game out the last 10 scoring 2 penalty against Bologna at home, all after gone out of coppa italia against Cagliari relegated in Serie B, and from uefa cup against not unbeateable Leeds, team that if they were in Serie A surely they were a middle table team.
Dear chairman Franco Sensi bought players from the transfer market only for increasing AS Roma shares at the stock market for just his personal profits. On my opinion not good enough for winning anything on the football pitch not only because some of them are already injured but because in some positions are players not good enough for playing for AS Roma as goalkeeper Antonioli ,in the defense line a player as old as Aldair 35 years old is still playing ,it does not seem very solid I think any team are good enough to score against us, in midfield we need at least 3 players after Emerson and Di Francesco will be out enjured for 6 months surely will be still playing with Tommasi. Only forward line is good enough having players as good as Battistuta, Totti, Montella, Del Vecchio and Balbo. Big question mark is coach Fabio Capello ,last season had excuse of bad refereing, enjures not having many good players available but against Reggina is not possible losing at home 2 - 0 but youth players from under 21 team are good enough to win that game, it is not possible losing against Cagliari ,team who lost against every team in serie A and that game with 7 players missing. I really miss coach Carletto Mazzone surely with the same Roma team could had been on the top 4 as good for playing Champions league, and his strong character would had kept players very determinated not like they were.
Capello this is your last opportunity for showing past glories were not just luck. Dear chairman this season is also your last if we will not win anything it would be better for you that you will be only Palermo football club chairman only ,team that you already bought ,surely you will take them from serie C up to Serie A as they deserve. AS Roma MUST win now, we are tired listenig stupid promises at the begining of the season and between Jannuary and March beeing out of all competitions.
This season I am not so optimist as I was last season and as most fans are. After looking at our players mentality we will not get very far even if these players are Champions as they were last season. I hope I am making a big mistake.
Anyway always forza Roma only for the flag our simbol not for mercenary players not worthy of wearing our jersey. |
