1. Each player is allowed only ONE entry per North End match.
2. All predictions must be submitted at least 2 HOURS before kick off, using the form provided. The form can be found here.
3. Points will be awarded as follows:
3 points for predicting the correct scoreline (ie. 2-1 to Preston and Preston win 2-1)
2 points for predicting the correct first goalscorer (first goalscorers can be from either side, not just the FIRST PNE SCORER)
1 point for predicting the correct outcome (ie. 2-1 to Preston and Preston win 3-2, or 1-1 and the game finishes 0-0)
PLEASE NOTE - if you manage to predict the score correctly, you only gain 3 points, the additional 1 point for the correct outcome is a consolation for being close, but not close enough!!
Therefore, it's possible to get a maximum of 5 points from each PNE fixture!!
4. The league table will be arranged with the player with most points at the top, so if you miss a match, you miss out. Players level on points will be separated by points average (see table here)
5. The competition is running for LEAGUE GAMES ONLY.
6. It would be useful if you could enter your predictions the way they would appear in the media, ie. Preston 2 Burnley 0, Stoke 1 Preston 1, etc. so I know which match you're referring to!!
7. I'm not promising any prizes at the end of the season as it's mainly for fun, but I'll try to come up with something!!
